When we actually looked at the MagSafe Duo information, we found that it only lists the Apple Watch Series 8, no information about the Apple Watch Ultra listed as well.
But recently Apple has updated the new support document. states that customers with Apple Watch Ultra or other Apple Watch models larger than 44 mm, 45 mm, or 49 mm may need to angle the MagSafe Duo charger or lay it flat, respectively. This will ensure that the charger is properly connected to your Apple Watch.
Or, if your Apple Watch Ultra still won’t connect to the MagSafe Duo charger, Apple recommends trying to disconnect the watch before placing the Watch Ultra on the charger again.
That means the Apple Watch Ultra may still be able to charge via the MagSafe Duo, but it only needs to lie flat or adjust the charging angle a bit. Can not be set up like a normal model, sure enough.
Anyone who is preparing to update to the Ultra model and still wants to use it with accessories like the MagSafe Duo, this must be kept in mind.
