Queen Elizabeth II, who reigned for almost 70 years, died on September 8 at the age of 96. Following this, Elizabeth II’s son and Prince Charles was proclaimed King of Britain.
Buckingham Palace has announced that all the funeral services for Britain’s longest-serving Queen Elizabeth II will be held on September 19. As such, it has been reported that many of the Queen’s belongings are on public view, while some are kept in secret.
As such, it has been announced that Queen Elizabeth II’s will will be sealed and kept in a locker for 90 years in accordance with government family practice. Since 1910, it has been customary for members of Her Majesty’s royal family to seal their wills and keep them in a secret locker in London to protect their privacy.
Although these wills are preserved under the control of the Chief Justice of the Family Division of the High Court in London, it has been reported that they do not have the authority to read them separately.
Similarly, in 1986, Queen Elizabeth II wrote a letter to the people of Sydney, Australia. Elizabeth’s personal staff did not know what she had mentioned in the letter. The letter is kept safe in a glass vault in the valuables room in the Victoria building.
No one is allowed to see it until the year 2085. Australian media have reported that the mayor of Sydney, who can be elected in 2085, has ordered it to be opened.
