“It’s like the maintenance log for your car, deciphers Pierre-Yves Hadengue, program director at Leroy Merlin and head of Hommy. With this app, we want to help residents manage their apartment or house well by reminding them of the interviews to be carried out and offering personalized solutions. There is also the possibility of having a follow-up of its consumption of electricity, water, gas, fuel and to receive advice to save money. »
A personal assistant that can send you notifications to remind you of a maintenance to perform or a fuel order to trigger. It also has a secure space where you can store and classify important household documents (invoices, photos, notices, etc.). “With regard to your insurance, it is very practical to have everything archived if you suffer a claim”, he specifies.
A free service
To do this, simply download the application (directly via the www.myhommy com site) and fill in the characteristics of the home: the number of rooms, the quality of your windows (single or double glazing), how you are heated, whether you have a boiler (and what brand) or a hot water tank, or how much equipment (domestic appliances and others) you have.
“The more precise and complete you are, the more personalized the advice will be,” continues Pierre-Yves Hadengue. We can thus remind you to properly adjust the hinges of your windows, when it will be necessary to clean the boiler or even encourage you to change the seals of your Velux windows which are a breeding ground for bacteria. »
By the end of the year, your home will also be given a score (the Hommy Score). This is a “diagnosis” in terms of energy consumption, pollution and noise level, which will evolve according to the work and improvements carried out in the habitat.
