Didier Deschamps, communicated, this Thursday, his list of 23 players for the two Nations League matches against Austria and Denmark, on September 22 and 25. Faced with a succession of packages (Paul Pogba, Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kanté in particular), the coach was forced to make several changes.
Some players take advantage of these absences to make their return to the France team. This is the case in attack of Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé, but also of Olivier Giroud. Two months before the World Cup in Qatar (November 20 – December 18), the coach has called up three new players. They are Monegasque defender Benoît Badiashile and his teammate Youssouf Fofana, midfielder.
