The attack on Mount Hebron: “The wounded man was conscious, shots were heard”

“I talked to the guys who were there, at the time of the incident, what happened was that they were in the Beit Midrash and a shot was fired at the Beit Midrash, they say it was definitely a terrorist, not a bullet fired”

He noted that “we still don’t know if the shooting was carried out from inside the settlement or outside the settlement”, but according to him, the bullet came from a nearby mikveh area, passed through a window and entered the beit midrash, where the yeshiva student was hit.

“A guy from Class A was injured,” said the director of the yeshiva, “he received a bullet under the shoulder, the guys treated Ben Shem in a quick and agile manner, and when the emergency department arrived, they evacuated him from there. He talked to his parents and is moderately injured.”

At this time, searches are taking place in the area, but so far the suspected terrorist in the shooting has not been caught. “Either he stayed on one of the hills or he ran away,” estimated the director of the yeshiva, “but the shooting probably came from the direction of the hills in front of the mikveh,” and noted that from unofficial reports another shot may have been fired at a vehicle near the time of the shooting at the yeshiva.
