Udumalai: In Sankaramanalluar Municipal Corporation, the people have protested against the construction work being carried out without replacing the electric pole in the middle of the sewer canal. Near Udumalai, Sankaramanalluar Municipal Corporation, Rudrapalayam Pudunanagaram area, the construction of the sewer canal is being carried out on behalf of the municipal administration.
In this case, the construction work is going on so that the street light pole there is in the middle of the sewer canal. In this regard, the Secretary of the Construction Workers’ Union Panneerselvam has sent a complaint to the Tirupur district administration: Sankaramanalluar Rudrapalayam in Pudunanagar, the construction work is going on so that the street light pole is inside the sewer canal. Due to this, the flow of waste water will be obstructed and health problems will occur. Therefore, the contractor who does not carry out the construction work properly, should be suspended without giving any other work. Action should be taken against the officer who did not supervise the work and the pole should be replaced, it was informed.
