Tom Cruise, said to be one of the most famous movie stars on the planet, became a temporary sponsor on Wednesday.

According to PageSix, the 60-year-old actor was in the UK’s Lake District while filming a sequence for “Mission: Impossible – Dead Account – Part 2” when a large flock of sheep invaded the venue. Filming stopped as an animal, laughing, gave way to a pass.

A Mission Impossible 8 release date hasn’t been announced, but Part VII will end in September 2021.

Cruises that jumped straight from one production to another also stopped in the Lake District for tourists.

According to The Northern Echo, Adam Wheeler and Lucy Hinch of Barnard Castle were vacationing in the area and walking their dog Blitz when they encountered Cruz on High Cragg Mountain. Cruz was about to skydive from the top when he took the time to pose with a truck fan.

“He was really nice, polite and down to earth,” Wheeler told local media. We were the last to photograph him and he had just parachuted back from the mountains to his camp next to Betermer.”

“He was doing all his stunts,” Wheeler added. “He was transported by helicopter and another helicopter filmed him parachuting.

Cruise plays Agent Ethan Hunt in the Impossible Mission Force in the action movie series and has been filming scenes for the eighth movie since July. Wheeler says he’s seen a few movies, but now that he’s met the star, he’s “definitely” planning to catch up.

Wheeler told the Northern Echo: “It was really nice to meet one of the most famous actors in Hollywood, and one of the richest. This was not what I was doing.”
