Hero Electric Scooter: Hero will bring its first electric scooter to the market. This electric scooter will compete with TVS iQube (TVS iQube), Bajaj Chetak (Bajaj Chetak) and many others. The country’s largest two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch its first electric vehicle (EV) in the domestic market next month. Along with this, the company will also enter the electric vehicle market. The launch of this scooter is scheduled to take place on 7th October. Pricing for the model will be revealed in the coming weeks. It is believed to be priced around Rs 1 lakh.
The company said in a filing to stock markets that it will launch a product under its ‘Vita’ brand on October 7, 2022. Hero MotoCorp’s new electric two-wheeler will compete with scooters like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1. Earlier it was reported that the bike maker has tied up with Taiwanese firm Kokoro for the battery swapping technology.

Dealers, investors and global distributors are invited to the company’s event in Jaipur, Rajasthan. According to industry sources, the company will present its first EV product at the event.
Hero MotoCorp said in March this year it had raised a $100 million (about Rs 760 crore) global fund to help more than 10,000 entrepreneurs with their environmental, social and governance (ESG) solutions, including electric vehicles. Hero MotoCorp plans to introduce a growing range of transportation solutions under its Vida brand.
