London: President Draupadi Murmu arrived in London to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. The President came to London to pay his respects on behalf of the Government of India. Rashtrapati Bhavan has tweeted about Draupadi Murmu’s visit to London.
The President will be in London for three days. Will attend the funeral and a banquet at the invitation of Charles III. A banquet has been prepared for world leaders at Buckingham Palace on Sunday.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 at Balmoral Palace in Scotland. The Queen’s funeral will be held on Monday.
On September 12, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar visited the British High Commission in India and expressed his condolences on the death of the Queen.
