The drone was spotted yesterday in Jakh, which scared the locals. The presence of the drone was first detected in Sarathi Kalan, a border village in Sampa sector. Then the drone traveled through Dera and Madhun villages. Later, the drone moved towards Pakistan border, people said.

The drone flew at an altitude of one kilometer. After receiving information about the presence of the drone, the security forces assessed the situation at the scene. Earlier, Pakistan made efforts to deliver weapons to India through drones. It is against this background that the security forces assessed the place. CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police are jointly conducting the search.

Earlier, a Pakistani drone was spotted near the Gurdaspur border in Punjab. The security forces went to the Pakistani side after continuous firing. Till July 2022, 107 drones have been found on the Indian border.
