After the loss to Manchester United, Arsenal saw only one thing in front of her eyes: victory and going into the break with a good head. The Gunners did the job after defeating Brentford today (Sunday) 0:3 in the London derby, a result that returns Mikel Arteta to the top of the Premier League, just before the international break.

The Gunners looked sharp from the start of the game, despite playing without the injured Martin Odegaard. In the 17th minute, William Saliba, who is called up to the French national team, scored the first after a precise corner kick by Bukayo Saka. In the 28th minute, Gabriel Jesus celebrated his fourth goal of the season with a powerful shot after Granit Xhaka’s lift.
In the second half, Fabio Vieira (49) closed the deal with a great kick from distance and celebrated his first goal since joining from Porto in the summer. The Gunners also kept a clean sheet and recorded their sixth win in seven games from the start of the season. Brentford remain ninth with nine points.
By the way, in extra time, 15-year-old Eitan Nwenri entered Arsenal’s ranks in extra time and became the youngest player in the history of the Premier League.
