The symbols of the Union State are already being developed, said State Secretary Dmitry Mezentsev in an interview with the Russia-1 TV channel.
“We see a unifying symbol that is needed. Maybe, if we dream, some time will pass and many joint documents will be accompanied, if not by a coat of arms, then by a union symbol, ”the Secretary of State explained.
Mezentsev announced the need to create the symbols of the state back in March, when he served as Russia’s ambassador to Belarus. In his opinion, this would be an important unifying factor.
Putin and Lukashenko approved 28 union programs of Russia and Belarus
Two days earlier, on November 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a document approving all 28 union programs. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin added that these programs relate to industrial, macroeconomic and agricultural policies of states. Minsk and Moscow, he continued, will gradually begin to form common markets for gas, oil and electricity.
