It is not possible for a small country like Taiwan to hold on to China’s defense. Taiwan’s fight for survival has received public support from the White House.
The US was also involved in the Ukraine Russia war. Biden’s statement is very reassuring for Taiwan. U.S. diplomatic experts say they don’t believe the move to defend Taiwan, an autonomous island off the coast of eastern China, will cause a rift in relations with China.
There have been reports of China launching a missile attack over the island of Taiwan and causing unrest. Although many countries of the world expressed their opinion on the issue, the Chinese government did not want to join it. China has also imposed severe economic pressure on Taiwan and imposed restrictions on trade relations.
