As part of government decision number 541 on “Approval of an update to the national plan for energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions” dated 10.24.2021, the details of the call for support of the Ministry of Energy in promoting action plans for sustainable energy in local government are published below. - Subject of support: preparation and implementation of action plans for sustainable energy in the local government.
- Entities that are allowed to submit applications: municipality, local council, regional council, cluster of local authorities.
- The maximum grant amount for the proposal: NIS 5,000,000
- Support rate: 50%-70% for energy efficiency projects; 30%-50% for outreach, education, and adoption of alternative solutions to improve the authority’s energy balance.
- Training session: will be held on September 29, 2022 at 12:00, via Zoom.
