According to the report on N12, the investigation, which is being conducted by the Taxation and Land Authority, was opened following Mokhtar’s statements in the media that raise suspicions that this is a fictitious transaction. It was also reported that a number of people were summoned to testify on the subject. The estimates are that the Tax Authority could not move to the agenda and therefore the inspection was opened.
The Tax Authority told News 12: “Due to the duty of confidentiality stipulated in the tax laws, we cannot refer to the existence or non-existence of an inspection or investigation regarding a particular person.”
