French companies are more and more convinced by digital technology. Forced to adopt it urgently at the time of the outbreak of the pandemic, 81% of VSEs and SMEs now recognize that they find it beneficial (versus 68% in 2020), according to France Num’s annual barometer on the digital transformation of VSEs and SMEs. Benefiting from exceptional aid within the framework of France Relance, 112,000 structures with fewer than eleven employees received a check for 500 euros from France Num in 2021 to invest in digital solutions. Now, they plan to increase their spending in this area, and 41% of them plan to devote more than 1000 euros to it. Some 16% even expect an investment of more than 5,000 euros. If necessary, SMEs with fewer than 50 employees can still apply for the France Num loan guarantee, which has been extended until December 31, 2023 and makes it possible to guarantee up to 80% of a loan whose maximum amount is 50,000 euros.
