The successful and beloved singer and songwriter Dodu Aharon released a new and exciting song to the world in honor of the coming year – a ballad called “Back to Back”. In a conversation with Iris Cole on 103fm, the artist talked about the inspiration behind the piece.

“When you bring out a ballad, I know that autumn is coming,” Kol said at the beginning of the conversation, and Aaron was amused by the statement: “Yes, ha, they told me that. It’s time to get into the fold.” He also said about the new single that “Throughout all the 15 years of my career, all the material I make, the audience probably also throws it at me personally and that’s fine, everyone and their wandering thoughts. But I can reassure you – everything is fine, God willing. This is a song I wrote about a friend , who is in a complicated relationship.”

In addition, he admitted that the song was created as a result of one of the conversations with his friend. “We wanted to make Shalom Beit. He broke my heart and the next day I was already in the studio, I was thinking about him, I wanted to see what happened to him. There were a few restless months. I said, ‘Come on, maybe I’m the reason for Shalom Beit’, I said that if I write a song and everything works out A good sign, maybe I’ll do it more. Of course he’s the first person I played the song to, he asked me to send it to his wife and she was very excited. That’s not the main reason they came back, but it didn’t hurt.”

As for fatherhood and the relationship with his wife, Aaron shared that he “enjoys parenthood, two girls, God willing. I enjoy my wife’s cooking, even on Fridays there is the deluxe menu. She makes all kinds of dinners for our friends and it is amazing for her. She is a full-time mother like That I am a full-time father. I do it not because I have to, but because I want to. If you ask me in 10 years if I missed a minute, I sign that I didn’t miss a minute.”

“I think that I really try to go above and beyond, to experience my childhood in every spare minute of my life. Even if it comes at the expense of my career, thank God today I’m here, I’ve established my status in Israeli music. I don’t rest on my laurels, I’m always burning I have the passion. I’m happy that I have this opportunity,” he concluded.
