On the 14th, the committee on parliamentary affairs accepted the proposal presented by Padakkala Sevidar regarding the relaxation of the restrictions imposed so far on visiting the Parliament due to the situation of covid infection and security reasons.
It has been mentioned that in the first phase, it has been agreed to grant permission to parties including school students who want to visit the Parliament on days other than Parliament session days.
Effective from today, school students will be able to visit the Parliament building.
For this purpose, they will be allowed from 9.30 am to 3 pm, said Narendra Fernando, Savidar of Parliament.
