Tirupattur: The police have registered a case against the person who jumped on the collector car. Syed Jamal, 58, belongs to Tirupattur Ausing Board area. He was working as a record clerk in Tirupattur Government School. He was suspended in 1998 for embezzling money from the school.
The school management did not give him settlement money. Frustrated with not coming after several requests, Syedjamal came to Tirupattur District Collector’s office today. Then Collector Amarkushwaha went out in the car. He tried to commit suicide by jumping on the car. The police there stopped him and saved him. The Tirupattur police registered a case against Syed Jamal for preventing him from doing government work.
