The escalation between the Haifa ultras organizations – Shear 5 of Hapoel Haifa and the Green Monkeys of Maccabi Haifa – continues following the publication of a video in which members of Shear 5 allegedly burned the equipment that was stolen last night from the monkeys’ warehouse at the Sami Ofer Stadium, as first published in “Kelvo – Haifa and the Kiryat” .

In the post that accompanied the video, which was uploaded to the Facebook page “Shear Hammes – Gate 5” yesterday (Tuesday), it was written: “There is no mercy in Kiryat Haim! For 20 years these tourists came to our city once every two weeks and thought they were nothing, today we believe they will realize that they are nothing. Coincidentally or not, the two organizations are supposed to celebrate 20 years soon, as we understand – only one organization will be able to do it.”

In the video, you can see flags and cheering equipment spread on the ground, with people carrying torches and torches stepping on them in an act of humiliation. At the end of the video, three bonfires are seen and people are throwing equipment into the fire.

The post received about 500 comments and double the number of likes. Most of the reactions, obviously, are from Maccabi Haifa fans, and many of them called for acts of revenge. The ones who made noise were actually the fans of the city rival. The page “The Fan Alliance of Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Netanya” responded: “The fan alliance will not be silent, wait for our sardine derby, an audience of one and a half shekels and the only one in the world whose number of signs is greater than the number of fans of the team. #In Haifa_there_is_only_one_group”.

Marcel Cohen wrote: “It breaks my heart that a soccer field turns into a murder. How much hatred, my heart just breaks. How much violence, it’s just going to end in death. Why?”. And Shlomi Dahan responded: “There is no mercy for warehouses, you men. You work for yourselves, come to empty warehouses. Why did you once stand in front of some organization with pride? You don’t know what it is to be truly proud, only with the help of the security, which no one sees and without You could have reacted at that moment. More shame that you bring it up, oh nothing and nothing. You will always be a rug at our feet. We are Haifa. Shame on the ultras industry.”

Doron Raziel tried to be the responsible adult: “It’s clear to you that it will end badly after what happened, yes? You turned the derby into a battlefield and it will be very far from football. In case anyone didn’t understand, it’s about concern for all the fans and not a threat.”

On the Facebook page “Ultras Israel” they shared the post under the title “Earthquake in Haifa”. The video has received about 40,000 views and about 1,000 comments. Avi Skago wrote a comment about crossing a red line: “When your ultras threw stones at a youth derby on Saturday at families with children who came to cheer for Hapoel, isn’t that a red line? And when your ultras arrived in Kiryat Haim and broke cars and threw fireworks at Hapoel fans watching a screening of a Hapoel game in Europe, this Not a red line? So give back a little, what happened?”.

Hapoel Haifa said in response: “We are shocked by the events of the last few days, call for calm in both fan camps and remind that this is just sport. We trust the police to bring justice to the fans who cause escalation and incitement.”
