Gangeyam: A lorry loaded with charcoal from Ernakulam, Kerala has passed through Gangeyam to reach Hyderabad.

Arumugam (45) from Molasi area near Tiruchengode in Namakkal district was driving the lorry. Gangeyam Erode Road near Mullipuram has caused an accident and stopped three sheep. In order not to get into this accident, he drove the lorry on a detour from Mullipuram to Siddhampalayam instead of taking it on the main road. Then the lorry got stuck in a trap and overturned on the road.

The police went to the spot after being informed about this and investigated the lorry that caused the accident. It was revealed that the driver was drunk and hit the goats without stopping. All three goats died in the accident. The Kangeyam police have registered a case and are investigating.
