Microsoft’s lineup of Surface PCs is often considered the closest thing to Apple’s Mac computers in the Windows ecosystem and one of the best laptops out there. The Redmond-based giant is gearing up for its next Surface announcement in a few weeks.
Microsoft has announced that the Microsoft Fall 2022 event will take place on October 12th at 10am. The event will take place prior to the start of the annual developer-focused Ignite event in Seattle from that date through October 14. This, in fact, is the first in-person event since the pandemic began. The device event invitation graphic features watercolor-like spots on the background of Windows 11, with “Save the date” handwritten, confirming that Microsoft will “talk about the device.”
Among the expected announcements, we’ll see the company launch a Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5, and possibly Surface Studio 3. 12th Gen Intel CPUs, different color schemes for Surface Pro 9, ARM and x86 CPUs. It has been traded about these upcoming products, like Pick. However, we won’t know until it’s released. Microsoft may be a pioneer in other hardware surprises, too.
