An unmanned and unidentified vessel has been found ashore near Russia’s Grand Naval Base in Sevastopol. Omega Bay is just outside the harbor entrance and is in an area used by the Russian Navy. It is about 150 nautical miles from the coast of Ukrainian control. According to estimates, the tool was operated by Ukraine. Navalnews publication.

The modified tool is small, versatile, powered by a single water jet engine. This configuration implies relatively high performance and a tool designed for speed. Such a small vessel, about the size of a kayak, would probably have a very small radar signature.

There are several sensors on the top of the tool. The main one is a camera mounted on a mast and an infrared device (FLIR). This is probably the main sensor for steering and situational awareness. Behind the camera is a flat antenna, possibly for navigation and/or communication. There is a smaller camera or sensor in the bow that appears to be fixed in front. There are two sensors facing forward in the bow.

According to the publication, the pictures do not show the interior of the vessel. But its curved design, with external reinforcement, suggests a warhead.
