In this situation, the police arrested a 22-year-old girl named Masha Amini for not wearing the hijab properly in Iran and severely assaulted her. Masha, who was seriously injured, was being treated at the hospital and died on the 17th.
The death of Masha Amini has caused great shock in Iran. But the Iranian police said that Masha died due to a heart attack.
In this case, protests have erupted in various parts of Iran in support of Masha Amini. Women have been protesting against hijab since 18th in different parts of the country.
As the protest against the hijab has intensified in Iran, the protest is spreading to other countries. Muslim women in Turkey are also protesting in support of the women’s protest against the hijab in Iran. Likewise, support for this movement is growing in Canada as well.
In this situation, it has been reported that 31 people have died in the clashes between protesters and security forces in Iran.
