Ita Airways e Air Europa signed a global code-share agreement linking the networks of both airlines. Thanks to this commercial partnership, which starts today Monday 8 November, we read in a note, Ita Airways will increase its operations and commercial offer in Spain and the Canary and Balearic Islands. Customers will have more options and better flight schedules thanks to the connections at the departure and arrival of the two hubs of the airlines, respectively Rome and Madrid.
Thanks to this agreement, the customers of Ita Airways e Air Europa they can easily fly to their desired destination with a “single” ticket, checking in at the departure airport and collecting their checked baggage at the arrival airport at the end of the journey.
Ita Airways will apply its code “THE“on the services operated by Air Europa between Italy and Spain. Likewise, Air Europa will put its own code on flights THE between Barcelona, Madrid and Rome, connecting the most important Italian and international airports in connection with the Rome Fiumicino hub. It is possible to buy flights in code-share through the websites of the airlines, at the call center and in travel agencies.
