ROME – A regional politician from the right-wing party Fratelli d’Italia (Brothers of Italy – FdI) is troubling his party leader and electoral favorite Giorgia Meloni in the Italian general elections on Sunday. A video shows how he stretched out his arm in the so-called Roman salute used in fascism at the funeral of a former right-wing extremist. Explosive: The politician is the brother of Ignazio La Russa, a co-founder of Fratelli d’Italia.
