Gold and copper deposits have been discovered by geological researchers in Madinah, the holy city of Islam in western Saudi Arabia.

The government of Saudi Arabia recently announced that gold and copper ores have been discovered in the holy city of Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
Regarding this, Saudi Arabia’s Geological Survey Center posted on Twitter, “Gold minerals have been discovered in the area within the boundaries of Aba Al Raha in the holy site of Madinah. 4 copper deposits were discovered at Al Madiq in Wadi Alwara Zone of Madinah. This expands our investment opportunities in countries around the world. It will attract local and international investors

According to Al Arabiya report, “With the discovery of gold and copper ores, domestic and foreign investments will be attracted. Contribution will be made to improve the economic development of the country. Newly discovered iron and copper deposits are expected to generate investment of $5.33 billion and generate employment for over 4,000 people.
“There are about 5,300 mines in Saudi Arabia,” Professor Abdullah Bin Laban, president of the Federation of Saudi Geologists, said in an interview last January. It includes metallic rocks, non-metallic rocks, building stones, gems and ornamental rocks,” he said.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s announcement last June had said that “under the 2030 expansion plan, the mining sector is a key sector to be expanded.”
