Kuwait City: The Criminal Court sentenced the military officer to death in Kuwait. A criminal court bench presided over by Judge Abdullah Al Uthman awarded the death penalty to a man who worked in the security forces under the Ministry of Interior in a murder case. The civil case seeking compensation for the family of the deceased has also been ordered to be transferred to the concerned court.

The verdict comes in the case of a Biduni youth, who has no citizenship of any country, and was found dead in the Julaya desert in Kuwait. On the basis of receiving information from the operations room of the Ministry of Home Affairs that an unidentified body had been found in the early morning, the security personnel reached the spot and conducted an investigation. The body of the 35-year-old man had blood and signs of suffocation. At a glance, it was clear that the incident was murder.

After a detailed investigation by the police, it was found that the accused is an army officer. Later he was arrested. He confessed to the crime when questioned. The accused said that the argument and verbal altercation with the victim resulted in the murder. Local media reported that this was the first murder case registered in Kuwait this year. The relatives of the victim demanded immediate compensation to the family.
