Ranipettai: In Ranipettai, the police arrested two persons, including a boy who stole three bullets and a car.
Vehicles were often stolen in Arakkonam area of Ranipet district. Arakkonam DSP Prabhu formed a special force to nab the criminals and conducted a manhunt. In this case, two people went on a bullet bike while the police were patrolling the road village near Arakkonam. The police arrested them on suspicion and interrogated them.
It was revealed that they were Om Prakash, 25, of Katpadi Tarapadved, Velwar district, and a 17-year-old boy of Plus 2 from Bharatinagar, Katpadi, who stole three bullet bikes and a Maruti Bolino Alpha car worth Rs 10 lakh in Arakkonam and hid them for sale. The police arrested them and seized the car and bike.
