The large-scale study is being carried out in collaboration with RIVM, CBS and the other GGDs. Municipalities, GGDs and other government agencies use the research results to determine health policy for the coming years.

Invitation

Approximately 65,000 randomly selected people in Limburg are approached to participate in a questionnaire survey. They will receive an invitation to participate from September 23.

The research asks questions about health, well-being, lifestyle, participation and the impact of corona. “For a good and reliable picture, it is important that as many people as possible participate in the study,” a spokesperson for the GGD said.

Additional measurement

Normally, the GGD carries out the Health Monitor once every four years. In this extra measurement, the GGD wants to map the consequences of the corona period.

The investigation will run until early December. The first research results will be announced in the course of 2023.
