The CaixaForum Girona opens this afternoon a new edition of the film series Petits Cinèfils, this time focusing on adaptations of the stories of the writer Roald Dahl.

The series for children who are just starting to discover cinema begins today with a screening of the film My Giant Friend, a film directed by Steven Spielberg in 2016 based on the book of the same name.

On October 22, it will be the turn of Matilda, one of Dahl’s most famous books, which was first published more than thirty years ago. This adaptation of Dahl’s classic was directed by Danny DeVito in 1996, and became a classic of the nineties.

On November 19, in the third and last screening of the cycle, children who come to CaixaForum Girona will be able to see James and the giant peach, a film directed in 1996 by Henry Selick.
