A resident of Dimona was stabbed to death this evening (Saturday) in the square of a synagogue on the street of the exit of Europe. The police announced that they opened an investigation into the case and after searches arrested a 49-year-old man, a resident of the city, on suspicion of the act.
As mentioned, the murdered man was found in the square of a synagogue on the street of the exit of Europe when his condition was described as critical to death. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police forces from the Dimona station arrived at the scene, began investigating the incident and scans, from which the suspect in the act, a 49-year-old resident of the city, was located and arrested.
At the end of a situation assessment conducted by the Deputy Commander of the Negev Region, Deputy Superintendent Eyal Azoulai, the investigation was assigned to the Negev District Police.
