As you may recall, with the outbreak of the global epidemic, the public health department in the most populated district in the United States began requiring the wearing of masks on buses, trains, airports, and more. In recent months, most of the local authorities in the golden state decided to cancel the policy, but in Los Angeles they avoided doing so, at least until yesterday.

In the announcement of the health department, it was stated that passengers on public transportation are still recommended to wear masks, and this despite the fact that the district is in the lowest risk level for contracting the corona virus, according to the definition of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The heads of the health department explained that the district currently reports 98 cases of corona for every 100,000 residents, but if this figure rises, the obligation to wear masks may be returned.
