Car exports from India increased by 6.91 percent in August last year. A total of 54,733 cars have been exported. Even in August 2021, only 51,196 cars were exported from India. Similarly, a total of 54,073 cars were exported in the month of July 2022.

Maruti Suzuki has 4 models in the top 10 most exported cars in August. The car topped the list with a total of 6,267 units of the Brezza exported in August. A total of 2,452 cars were exported in August 2021.

The Kia Seltos is second on the list after the Brezza with a total of 2,626 units exported in August 2021. This car has a year-on-year growth of 83.82% in exports.

Following this, the Nissan Sunny car is in high demand in the global markets. Nissan Sunny is the 3rd most exported car from India. In August 2022, 4,646 units of Nissan Sunny were exported.

Hyundai Verna is ranked 4th with 4,094 units exported in August. Next, the Maruti Suzuki Swift car is at the 5th position with exports of 3,051 units in August.

It is followed by the Hyundai Grand i10 at the 6th position. 2,896 units were exported in August 2022. Maruti Baleno has got the 7th position in the list. A total of 4000 Baleno cars have been exported in August 2022.

The 8th place in the list is the Kia Cenet (2715 units), the 9th place is the Maruti Dzire (2406 units) and the 10th place is the Hyundai Creta (1994 units).
