by time news

An incredible performance from American Frances Tiafoe, who beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 1-6, 7-6 (11), 10-8, helped the Rest of the World win their first Laver Cup (13-8) against Europe, Sunday in London. Led 8-4 at the start of the day, before a double and three singles which each brought three points on the last day, the Rest of the World can thank Felix Augier-Aliassime, winner in doubles, with Jack Sock, of Matteo Berrettini and Andy Murray, then Novak Djokovic in singles, as well as recent US Open semi-finalist Tiafoe, who put them out of reach for Europe heading into the final game.
