Affected by two judicial inquiries

Mr. Lallement, 66, was widely criticized during his three and a half years at the head of the Prefecture of Police for his brutal management of the demonstrations. He is the subject of two judicial inquiries, concerning his policing scheme during the movement of “yellow vests”.

The first was opened on August 31, 2022 after the filing of a complaint with civil action by two figures of the movement, Priscillia Ludosky and Faouzi Lellouche, who accuse him of having put them in danger by « nassant » and preventing them from demonstrating in Paris in November 2019.

The second follows the complaint of the former “yellow vest” Maxime Nicolle, who denounces his “arbitrary detention” during his placement in police custody on the sidelines of the parade of July 14, 2019.

It was the former national coordinator of intelligence and the fight against terrorism, Laurent Nunez, who succeeded Mr. Lallement at the head of the Parisian institution at the end of July.
