T20 match starts tomorrow in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: The first T20 match between India and South Africa will be played at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow. The South African cricket team has come to India to play three-match T20I and ODI series each. The first T20 match will be played at the Thiruvananthapuram Greenfield Stadium tomorrow. The South African players led by Themba Bouma arrived in Thiruvananthapuram the day before and the Indian players led by Rohit Sharma arrived in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday evening to participate in the tournament. Fans gave them a rousing welcome at Thiruvananthapuram airport.

Greenfield Stadium is fully prepared for tomorrow’s match. The Kerala Cricket Association said that 80 percent of the tickets have been sold while 35,000 fans have been seated to watch the match. The match starts tomorrow at 7.00 PM. India won the recent T20I series with Australia by 2-1, and expectations have been raised that they will accumulate victories against the South African team as well.
