The Scottish government has mysteriously blocked access to the death certificate of Queen Elizabeth who passed away earlier this month. Despite many attempts by various media, the Queen’s death certificate, which is of public interest, has not yet been revealed.

The Queen’s death certificate may reveal details about her cause of death, raising suspicions about why the Scottish government is refusing to release it. “No response will be given during the period of royal mourning,” it was stated in response to the British media’s attempts to access the document.

If the Queen had died in England, there would have been no official reason to publish a cause of death, as the Registration Act of 1836 does not apply in the country to monarchs. But as she died in Scotland, all deaths must be registered, submitting the death certificate.
