During the pandemic, many people welcomed a pet into their homes and sadly some have discovered that they are allergic to the new puppy. In fact, in the last two years there has been an increase in requests for allergy visits and new diagnoses. The good news is that today, thanks to very specific molecular tests, it is possible to know exactly the molecule (allergen) involved, since there are several, and possibly make a more thoughtful choice of the animal to be adopted.
What causes pet allergy?
