The court had imposed various conditions and allowed the RSS to hold rallies at various places in Tamil Nadu on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
The court had directed to take proper permission from the police to hold the rallies. In this case, permission has been sought on behalf of the RSS organization in various districts of Tamil Nadu, but the police has refused permission for the RSS rally in Trichy, Cuddalore, Vellore, Tirupathur, Ambur, Pudukottai and other districts. Similarly, the police have denied permission to the RSS rally in Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Palani, Tenkasi and Sankarankoil.
The announcement was reportedly conveyed to the RSS functionaries who sought permission through the police overnight. It has been reported that the police have informed that permission is being denied as they will not be able to focus on this rally as the situation is going on in certain districts regarding the banned movement.
