A court in Trincomalee has ordered a famous English teacher to be remanded till the 30th on the charge of abusing three male students who went to advanced classes in Trincomalee.
The warrant was issued yesterday (28) when the suspect was produced before Trincomalee Court Judge Byas Razak.
Although the students informed their parents about the teacher, the child protection center was informed about the teacher.
Detention till 30th
Following this, instructions have been given to Upluveli Police Station to conduct investigations regarding the incident.
In this case, after receiving the statement of the student, the police who conducted the investigation arrested the famous English teacher and produced him in the Trincomalee court.
Meanwhile, the court has ordered that the said students be remanded until the next 30th until the legal remedy report is available to the court.
