A satellite photo of thousands of people waiting to leave Russia has caused shockwaves.
Georgia is located in Russia. There is a traffic jam for 20 kilometers on the border of this area. Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a special order ordering the mobilization of 3,00,000 troops for the war in Ukraine. There has been strong opposition to this order across the country and people are also protesting. Due to this, the Russian police have been deployed in the field and strict repression is being carried out.
After this, thousands of men are leaving the country with their families. At this stage, a satellite photo has been released regarding the traffic jam that has occurred 20 kilometers away on the Russian-Georgia border. Russians have told international media that they wait 40 to 50 hours to get out of their country. It has been reported that not only on the Georgia border, but also on the Gyakt border between Mongolia and Russia, a similar crowd is seen.
So far 2,60,000 men have left Russia in recent days. Between Wednesday and Saturday night, 2,61,000 men left Russia, the government said in a statement. However, they say that this number is likely to be much higher and the government’s claims cannot be trusted in totality. And on Monday, more than 8,000 Russians reportedly fled to Finland in an attempt to escape Putin’s policies.
