A suicide bomber blew himself up a short time ago (Friday) in an educational institution located in the Dashti Barchi neighborhood in the west of the Afghan capital, Kabul. At the moment it is not clear whether the terrorist was wearing an explosive belt or carried out the attack with a bomb.
Dozens of people were killed, with the last official number received being 19 people who lost their lives in the attack. In addition, many dozens were injured. As of now, no organization has claimed responsibility for the blast.
The spokesman for the local police, Khalid Zadran, commented on the incident and said: “Students were preparing for a test when a suicide bomber struck the educational center, 19 people were murdered and 27 others were injured.”
