“Here, we have everything you need”: why they left Île-de-France for a retirement in the sun

After a whole life spent in Île-de-France, Michel and Anne were finally able to take a long-awaited retirement… in the sun! These former business leaders have been living in La Grande-Motte (Hérault) for several months. A choice of destination that was not complicated for these young people in their sixties. “This is where we came on vacation, to our apartment, every summer and whenever we could,” says Michel. In addition to the sun and the view of the sea, this destination has the advantage of bringing them closer to their children and grandchildren, who live in the South.
