Skyrim Anniversary Switch players seem to have performance issues

Earlier this week, the Switch received the Anniversary Edition for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It’s great to finally have this special version of the game on your Nintendo hybrid, it seems how much Players are having performance issues.

Number of Skyrim ذكرى memory Switch users are reporting frame rate issues — including stuttering and low frame rate. Others are supposed to have more accidents on a regular basis now, and a lot of them remind of the way they played in the game’s survival mode. Here’s a look at one of the videos currently blowing up on the Nintendo Switch subreddit:

This appears to be affecting players who have installed Anniversary content, as the base game is still “silk smooth” according to some users. Some suggestions are to try a fresh install if these performance issues persist. Problems like this can often be fixed or at least improved via a series of patches, so we hope Bethesda will take care.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition comes loaded with the base game, addons (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn) and tons of other club building content such as quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, and spells. There is also fishing.

If we hear of any further developments, we will let you know.
