Virat Kohli became the first Indian player to cross 11,000 runs in T20 matches

Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 49 off 28 balls in the 2nd T20I match between India and South Africa. He scored 19 runs in this match and became the first Indian player to cross 11,000 runs.

Kohli has reached 11,030 runs in 354 T20 matches. Rohit Sharma (10,587 runs) is the second highest run-getter in T20Is, followed by Shikhar Dhawan (9,235 runs).

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle tops the list of highest run-scorers in T20 Internationals. He has played 463 matches and scored 14,562 runs.

Kieran Pollard from the same team is second with 11,915 runs in 614 matches and Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik is third with 11,902 runs in 481 matches.
