Dubai: ICC has announced the schedule of Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in South Africa next year. As in the men’s World Cup this year, India’s matches will begin with a match against Pakistan.
The teams are divided into two groups. Group 1 consists of defending champions Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa. Apart from India, the second group consists of Pakistan, England, West Indies and Ireland teams. Australia will start the fight to retain the World Cup with the match against New Zealand on February 11. On February 11, the hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka will enter the fight.

The India-Pak match that the fans are waiting for is on February 12. India reached the finals of the T20 World Cup held last year. About one lakh people came to the stadium to watch the India-Australia final match at the MCG.
In the Commonwealth Games held in July this year, India and Australia met in the final. After a good fight, India again succumbed to the Aussie power. The final of the Women’s T20 World Cup will be held in Cape Town on February 26. There are reserve days for semi-finals and finals. Each team will compete against each other in the group stage. The top two teams in the group will advance to the semi-finals.
