Jonny Bairstow has said that he will not play cricket until the end of this year.
Jonny Bairstow has been ruled out of England’s T20 World Cup squad due to a golf injury. He also did not play in the recently concluded 7-match T20 series against Pakistan.
Bairstow is currently resting after a leg operation. In this case Bairstow said about the condition of his injury on Instagram:
I am giving information about my injury to everyone. The surgery went well. It’s been 3 weeks. The next few weeks and months are critical. I can’t say right now when I will play again. First move both legs. Everything should be perfect. One thing is for sure, I won’t be playing anything in 2022. He said he is waiting to play in 2023. Therefore, it is certain that Bairstow will not be included in the England team that will go to Pakistan in December and play the Test series. Bairstow’s arrival is eagerly awaited by England fans as he has scored 6 centuries in the last 10 Tests played.
