North Korea launched a ballistic missile tonight (Tuesday) over Japan that landed in the Pacific Ocean. The last time such a case happened was five years ago, this fact causes great concern in Japan. “This is a violent act, the ballistic missile launches are repeated over and over again,” the Japanese Prime Minister said in response.

During the past year, 43 ballistic missiles were fired by North Korea, it was reported in the media in Japan. According to the report, this is an especially large amount in light of the fact that in the 16 years leading up to 2022, only 17 such missiles were fired.
