Marseille: Clauss stopped for ten days

by time news

Replaced half an hour into the game by Issa Kaboré during the Champions League match between Marseille and Sporting (4-1), Tuesday evening, Jonathan Clauss underwent additional examinations this Wednesday morning which revealed a hyper extension of the tendon of the hamstring. The former Lensois should be away from the field for ten days.

He is therefore already forfeited for the next two matches of the Marseille club against Ajaccio, on Saturday October 8, and Sporting, on Wednesday October 12 in Portugal. His presence on the lawn of the Parc des Princes to face PSG on Sunday October 16 is very uncertain. We will have to see how he recovers from his injury in the coming days.

More fear than harm, on the other hand, for the right piston of the Blues for the next World Cup in Qatar (November 20 – December 18) which starts in just over six weeks.
